Expat living is not something to take lightly. Making the decision to move abroad isn’t an easy one, however, there are so many great resources to help you do research and get a feel for whether expat living is the right thing for you and/or your family. I can’t begin to imagine how hard this type of research would have been even 20 years ago before the internet was prevalent. The internet has helped de-risk or at least lower the risk of uncovering any major surprises.
You can research property, visit government websites, read firsthand accounts from expats living around the world and learn more about health care, education, etc. The world is at your finger tips. This list of resources will continue to evolve as we complete our own research. Feel free to share your own and we’ll publish to round out our list.
